Family Gathering with those who could come

It was August 1st. A bit of a cool day family was there which counts a lot that I was able to get there. Miracles happen. I hadn't been to a family gathering for about 5 years to meet with the family.
My own children all grown up were not there. but I still love them and missed them B.C. people meet Alberta people again.

This is Merv and I a few days before traveling together. I don't think I was sad but contented and we were going on a trip together. Our first one and yes It would be fun.

The First Friday in August 2008

This here is Rose and Paul at the Gasebo at Revelstoke. She came earlier with her two boys and Paul came later. They had tons of stuff in there pickup for camping.

Rose and I had a good visit. You can see that it wasn't the warmest day there. There had been quite a bit of rain

One of the many views that we noticed and thought it seemed like a contant panorama of beautiful scenery we had to pick and choo0se.

We stopped at a restaurant. L@W for a pizza on the way home and it had large chunks of ham on it.

It had gotten very late by the time we arrived home and it was around 2 am when we pulled into Fort Saskatchewan but I feel it was all worth it. And the lovely pictures as memories is what we have to cherish.

This is the day that I was the cook and cleaner with the help of Anita and her husband as well as Merv. We went to the store and bought hamburgers and had a real feast in this gabazo which was sheltered from the rain that had come intermitently thoughout the day,.
